The fireworks display scheduled for the closing of this year’s festival on Sunday, August 3 has been cancelled.
Food Truck Rally & concerts on the Windsor Waterfront are still going ahead as scheduled
starting at 4:00 PM!
After a five-year hiatus, Avon River Days made a valiant comeback in summer 2024. A group of dedicated individuals from the community reformed the Avon River Days committee in 2023 to once again bring smiles to 1000s of faces in West Hants.
Now known as the Avon River Days Society, our vision is to
bring people and community together.
Without the support of local businesses and individuals we will be unable to make Avon River Days a reality. Our new committee is starting from scratch and is heavily dependent on financial support from our community.
With our dedicated group and community, we truly believe that we can make the return of a community festival for Windsor and West Hants a resounding success.
