Be a part of the revitalization of Avon River Days! Whether it’s volunteering or applying to be a vendor, we can all play a part in making the return of our community’s celebration an achievement. You will find all of the forms that you need on this page.
Volunteer With Us
Volunteers will play a vital role in making Avon River Days 2024 a success. With events happening over four different locations, we will need boots on the ground throughout the weekend.
We will need assistance in all capacities on Saturday, August 3.

Colouring Contest Rules & Regulations
Deadline: Saturday, August 3 at 12:00 PM (noon).
- Download & print the colouring page or pick up your copy at one of the Post Offices in West Hants, the Windsor or Hantsport Library, MLA Office, or the Tourism Bureau.
- Age categories for colouring contest prizes are 4 to 7 years old;
and 8 to 12 years old. - Youth or adults outside of the ages of the official competition can participate but will not be considered for prizes.
- One winner will be randomly selected from each category.
- Official entries must be completed solely by the youth.
- Drop off your photo at Avon River Days on August 3rd at the Kid’s Carnival, or get your parent/guardian to share a photo of it publicly on Facebook or Instagram, and get them to tag us in it! @avonriverdays
- Make sure you include your name, age, and a phone number so we can reach the winner!
