On behalf of the Avon River Days Society, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported this year’s 2025 festival. These events simply don’t happen without the generosity of organizations, businesses, and individuals who believe in what we’re building together. Your support made a real difference, and we are so grateful you chose to invest in something that means so much to our community.

Community at the Heart

At its core, Avon River Days is about connection. But bringing people together in a meaningful way takes more than passion, it takes partnership, planning, and the financial support of sponsors who share in the vision of what’s possible when communities gather. Your contribution didn’t just fund a festival; it powered memories, strengthened connections, and gave our community reasons to celebrate.

The Value of Sponsorship

We know that choosing to sponsor an event comes with expectations. It’s not just about putting on a great community festival; it’s also about making sure sponsors feel their investment was appreciated and put to good use. From digital exposure to signage, programs, radio coverage, and community goodwill, we worked hard to ensure our sponsors walked away with real visibility and tangible value.

By the Numbers

Here are just a few of the highlights your support made possible:

  • 44 radio ads aired on Magic 94.9 in the lead-up to the festival

  • 2 radio interviews featured on Magic 94.9

  • 895 tickets issued for Joel Plaskett’s concert at the West Hants Sports Complex

  • 1,200+ people at the Friday Night Kickoff Party

  • 1,500+ kids and families at the Kids Carnival

  • 1,200+ attendees at the Car Show and Tug of War

  • A tremendous reception for the Grand Parade

  • 1,300 printed programs distributed throughout West Hants

  • 5,900 program views through the Avon River Days website

  • 675,000+ views (and counting!) on social media during and after festival week

  • Strong, positive feedback from attendees, participants, and community partners

  • Press outreach to multiple regional and provincial outlets now underway

Looking Ahead

This was only our second year organizing the event with this team, and while we’re proud of what we accomplished, we’re not standing still. We’re already thinking about ways to improve for next year. If we missed the mark anywhere, we want to hear from you. Honest feedback helps us grow, and we would much rather learn now than miss the chance to make things better.

We’ve also created a short Post-Festival Survey (ARD2025 Survey) for those who’d like to share their thoughts in a structured way.

Until Next Year

We’ll be reaching out this winter with sponsorship opportunities for 2025, but if you’d like to express early interest or book a time to share ideas, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. In the meantime, you can check out some of our social media highlights at Avon River Days to see the impact your support helped create.

Thank you again for your belief in Avon River Days. These events are created by community—but they are powered by our sponsors.

With sincere appreciation,
