Volunteer With Us
Volunteers play a vital role in making Avon River Days a success. With events happening over four different locations, we will need boots on the ground throughout the weekend in all capacities from Friday, August 1 through Sunday, August 3.

Car Show Registration
Shine up your ride and show it off at the 2nd Annual Avon River Days Car Show! Taking place on Saturday, August 2, this crowd-favourite event welcomes classic cars, muscle cars, antiques, hot rods, and custom builds from across Nova Scotia and the Maritimes. We want to make this an awesome event, so be sure to register early to secure your spot!
Whether you’re a seasoned car enthusiast or just love a good cruise-in, the Avon River Days Car Show is the perfect way to connect with the local auto community and celebrate the summer in style.
Registration: Free
Date: Saturday, August 2
Pre-registration: Opens at 8:30AM
Show: 10:00 AM -2:00 PM
Location: Hants County Exhibition Grounds, Windsor, NS
Trophies will be given for: Best in Show, People’s Choice, Best Chevy, Best Dodge, Best Ford, Best Import
A limited number of rooms will be available at the Super 8 in Windsor for car show participants. Please email Tasha at carshow@avonriverdays.ca to inquire or if you have any questions.

Colouring Contest Rules & Regulations
Deadline: Saturday, August 2 at 12:00 PM (noon)
Drop-off at the Avon River Days HQ Tent (by the flagpole on the Windsor Waterfront) or send us a photo through Facebook or email info@avonriverdays.ca
- Download & print the colouring page or pick up your copy at one of the Post Offices in West Hants, Windsor and Hantsport Libraries, MLA Office, Tourism Bureau, and local grocery stores.
- Age categories for colouring contest prizes are 4 to 7 years old; and 8 to 12 years old.
- Youth or adults outside of the ages of the official competition can participate but will not be considered for prizes.
- Official entries must be completed solely by the youth.
- Make sure you include your name, age, and a phone number so we can reach the winner!
